For the past several years, I’ve been publishing one blog post per week on inside sales effectiveness. And I don’t repeat anything, as inside sales is always a field ripe for new issues, dilemmas, and solutions. The blog was originally intended to serve as a reinforcement element for people that have taken my inside sales training courses, but has taken on a new life of its own for people all over the world that read it, send it on, and republish it.
Every year end, I publish my most popular blog posts created during the previous year, and here are my Top 6 for 2010, in terms of visitors. What’s particularly interesting is that 4 of these were specific to finding new jobs in the world of inside sales and telephone-based business development. This tells me that lots of you are either looking for new positions or are perfecting your interviewing techniques, so I believe my blog is reflective of the realities many inside sales folks faced last year.
